Crystal Touch
Ocular's line of projected capacitive touch panels, available in Single Touch or Multi-Touch variations.
Intelligent Thermal And Power Supervisor (ITAPS)
Ocular’s Intelligent Thermal And Power Supervisor (ITAPS) monitors and protects display systems deployed in extreme environments. ITAPS monitors input power, internal and external temperature and other environmental factors and takes action should a set threshold level be exceeded.
Low-Viz ITO
A unique Ocular design that virtually eliminates the visible Indium Tin Oxide traces on touch panels.
Optical Bonding
A manufacturing technique for eliminating the air gap between displays, cover lens and touch panels, improving visibility and durability. Ocular has licensed the use of DuPont™ Vertak® direct bonding display technology.
Projected Capacitive (PCAP)
A touch panel technology that determines touch location by sensing changes in electric field across the panel, caused by finger proximity. This contrasts with resistive touch technology, which utilizes physical pressure on the panel surface. Projected Capacitive touch panels are more reliable and result in superior optical clarity than resistive touch panels.
